I spent hours and hours looking for the right band for our small, cool, intimate wedding, and these guys fitted the bill perfectly.
If you’re planning a small wedding with just your very favourite people in the world, it’s important to get the entertainment right. An all-singing, all-dancing big band is probably not going to be the right fit. Strings Attached, on the other hand, might be exactly what you need. They are a glorious hybrid of a string quartet and an acoustic band, combining beautiful cello and violin sounds with vocals, piano and guitar. From classical instrumentals to pop covers, they are probably the most versatile wedding band out there.
We had such a great time at Etta and Ed’s wedding, a small but perfectly formed extravaganza at Silverholme Manor in the Lake District. Everything from the venue to the food to the speeches was just right for this fun-loving couple. As they arrived we played a mini sing-along set featuring Hey Ya, Bittersweet Symphony and Rather Be, which got everyone in the mood for the evening. Then we performed two sets of acoustic pop covers, which went down an absolute treat.
The venue itself, Silverholme Manor, was totally stunning and we had such a warm welcome from the staff. Emma Tebbey did a fabulous job of organising everything, and videographer Adam Wing created one of the best wedding films we have EVER seen! Photographer Louise Jacob captured the incredible images you can see below. What a team!
Here’s what this very happy couple said about having our acoustic band at their wonderful Lake District wedding: “Wow, wow, wow, Strings Attached were exceptional. I spent hours and hours looking for the right band for our small, cool, intimate wedding, and these guys fitted the bill perfectly. Thanks for making the day so amazing Strings Attached x" |
